This webinar follows webinar No. 6 Injection inhomogeneities during packing – shrinkage, anisotropy, tolerance.
The narrow tolerance range and the required accuracy level of plastic parts are currently frequently discussed issues. We will show some important points of the DIN 16742 and ISO 20457 standards regarding tolerance range determination and accuracy levels according to these standards. We will attempt to answer the question of the actual behavior of injection-molded plastic parts in relation to the tolerance range.
We will demonstrate shrinkage calculation in Moldflow using CRIMS data.
