The more accurate data you provide, the better analysis results you will get. The basic inputs are the CAD model of the part/mold, the trade name of the polymer used with the material sheet and other data, if you have defined them, such as the number, location and type of sprues, view surfaces of the part, etc.

Autodesk Moldflow software is unique in that its database contains more than 13,000 polymers with measured material properties. There is a very high probability that your material is already included. If not, we will use a suitable substitute.

If you need to use a specific polymer that is not available in the database and analysis accuracy is critical, we can arrange the measurement of its material properties. The acquired data will then be applied directly in the simulation analysis.

Moldflow simulation provides insight into the injection molding process taking place inside the mold cavity. It allows us to verify the functionality of both the part and mold design, predict potential quality risks, and minimize the costs associated with them.
