The more accurate data you provide, the better analysis results you will get. The basic inputs are the CAD model of the part/mold, the trade name of the polymer used with the material sheet and other data, if you have defined them, such as the number, location and type of sprues, view surfaces of the part, etc.

The Autodesk Moldflow database includes over 12,000 polymers with material properties. In case you want to use a specific polymer that is not in the database and the accuracy of the analysis is crucial for you, we will arrange measurement of material properties of the polymer of your choice. The data obtained in this way will be applied in the simulation analysis.
