Who is the course intended for?
The course is primarily designed for injection mold designers. It is also suitable for technologists and project managers.
The Injection Mold Designer 1 course can be expanded with the Injection Mold Designer 2 course.
The Injection Mold Designer 1 course can be expanded with the Injection Mold Designer 2 course.
Cíl kurzu

Deepen knowledge of plastic behavior in the mold cavity, flow properties, pressures, shrinkage, anisotropy.

Description of the injection molding machine and process with an emphasis on the causes of defects in the molded part within the mold.

The most important part of the course is a detailed understanding of the design and use of individual components of the injection mold assembly – frames, ejection mechanisms, gating systems, cooling, and venting.
Instructor: Ing. Martin Sklář
Methodology: Interactive lecture by the instructor, PowerPoint presentation. Practical examples, solution proposals, guided discussion. Lecture notes with presentation slides.
